Alright, good morning everybody.
So, we're going to start today with just doing a little relaxation stretch here.
We're going to lay down.
You can either lay down on the pillow or you can lay down first and then put the block underneath your back.
It's going underneath your lower back here.
Okay, I'm just kind of holding this pose.
Just allow the weight of your body to sink.
Take some nice deep breaths.
And this is really good if you've got a lot of lower back pain.
This puts a lot of space in the lower back and sacrum.
So just take nice deep breaths.
Just pay attention to the calmness of your breath.
As it flows over your body.
Relaxing you.
We're just going to do a body scan here.
Just relax your head.
Between your forehead and your eyebrows.
Your eyes, your cheeks.
Relax your jaw, your tongue, your teeth.
Just take nice deep breaths.
Yoga is just used for relaxing the body.
It's not to get rid of your thoughts.
But more to become in touch with your thoughts.
So when thoughts come into your mind, just let them come.
And let them go.
Nice deep breathing.
And bring the awareness to your breath.
And notice how when you inhale, it goes into your belly, in your lungs.
And when you exhale, it causes your body to fall.
